MERT Inc. was established in 1969 in Istanbul, Persembe Pazarı for the purpose of selling hydraulic and pneumatic technical factory materials. Within nine years, in line with the local / regional needs and the company's development strategy, MERT has performed the factory investment for the purpose of production with MERT Fluid Power Inc. The factory is still Turkey’s first and widest range of pneumatic products manufacturer.

MERT has a wide distribution and service organization covering the whole of Turkey. In addition to its branches in four major cities, it is possible to reach its products nearly to 20 locations throughout the country.
MERT is the first institution that started training seminars for engineers and technicians in Turkey. In this context, the first original Hydraulic and Pneumatic reference books published in Turkish were published by MERT. These books were also used as textbooks in technical universities. Training seminars can be given in the training hall of the company as well as in the training halls of different institutions and organizations as ‘internal training’.
